Fallout 4 was not designed to cater to the original demographic of the franchise but to that of the action shooter crowd. It's a rewrite of the player's dialogue choices, whilst not interfering with the script itself, these re-written dialogue it will still yield vanilla replies. Please do understand that my intention is not to hate on Fallout 4, its to only point out why some Fallout fans prefer Fallout: New Vegas rather than Fallout 4.
